Vanessa's farewell and Mike's Fishing

Got together with some friends and family in the park on Thurs night to so good-bye to Vanessa - we had pizza first with just the family.

Then played some sand volleyball - girls and Mike against the guys and of course the girls won :)

Then we had some ice cream sandwiches - Vanessa left yesterday and hopes to be home to her family tonight - just this morning she got to Brazil - now has two more flights to get to her family and friends who are waiting there in Victoria.

Mike had a great time fishing too - they went small mouth bass fishing and caught quite a few - this is Dave De Ruyter

Fun summer times - we are riding the Okoboji Campus ride this Saturday - 25 miles around parts of the lake - it is always the last Saturday in June and we always have a great time - it is suppose to be pretty warm this weekend - so we might have to get an early start and then go swimming later to cool off :)
