First big snow/ice storm of the year here today - I went out this morning with the van at 8:30 and plan on not taking it out again till need be - it went OK but the snow is turning to an ice storm and the roads are slick - Jamie and I are busy making goodies and wrapping gifts. It is also the opening day of shotgun season for deer - so Mike is busy with Marcus - seen one this morning but decided to wait since it's the first day and see if any bigger deer come along - they are going out again around 3pm - will keep you all posted if anything happens - first season is open for 5 days.
Jamie was suppose to be playing basketball all day in Hawarden at a tournament and that was cancelled.
The picture is from skiing last winter in South Dakota - the trees were absolutely gorgeous. ( and so is the girl of course - of what you can see of her :)

Oh my gosh, snow and ice. Really makes it Christmasy. Great day for baking and wrapping.
Not rubbing it in, but it is 63* here and Gerrit is tilling the garden.
